Dreamland
Dollywood, Dolly Parton's amusement park in eastern Tennessee, represents everything that conservatives in America pretend to be: God-fearing, patriotic, hard-working, polite and extremely hospitable. 'Creating memories worth repeating,' adorns the entrance. Step through the entrance and step back in time. Dollywood is a tribute to the America of yesteryear, when a town was still a town and not a string of chains along the highway. When America had not yet been overrun by asphalt and the arrival of the train was eagerly awaited, people greeted each other in the street and biblical values were observed. The amusement park is especially popular with seniors, both visitors and employees.
